Das Amtsgericht Zwickau ist derzeit an insgesamt vier Standorten in Zwickau und Bad Schlema untergebracht. Ziel der Maßnahme ist die konzentrierte, bedarfsgerechte Unterbringung des Amtsgerichts an einem Standort in Zwickau auf Grundlage des Gesetzes zur Neuordnung von Standorten der Verwaltung und der Justiz des Freistaats Sachsen (Sächsisches Standortegesetz - SächsStOG). Dafür wird das historische Amtsgerichts am Standort Dr.-Friedrichs-Ring 21 saniert, umgebaut und erweitert. Die Baumaßnahme gliedert sich in folgende Teilbaumaßnahmen: — TBM 1: Erweiterung im Bestand (überdachte Sitzungssäle im Hofbereich EG sowie Lückenschluss Bestandsgebäude); — TBM 2: Neubau; — TBM 3: Sanierung Gebäude im Bestand.
