Der FWC betrifft die Bereitstellung strategischer Kommunikationsunterstützung und -dienste für die Europäische Verteidigungsagentur (EDA) für externe und interne Kommunikation mit Fokus auf die Förderung der Rolle, Aktivitäten und des Mehrwerts der EDA in der europäischen Verteidigungszusammenarbeit. Die Möglichkeit zur Erhöhung der Höchstgrenze des FWC unterliegt Artikel 11.1 Buchstabe e Anhang I der Haushaltsordnung.
