Beschafft wird ein markierungsfreies optisches Massenphotometrie-System (Mass Photometry System) für das Biocenter Oulu. Das Gerät soll die Molekülmasse und Massenverteilung von Nanopartikeln (Proteine, Nukleinsäuren bis 20 nm Größe) im natives Zustand mit Einzelmolekül-Empfindlichkeit bestimmen können, auch bei hohen Konzentrationen (μM). Es nutzt abgeschwächte optische interferometrische Rückstreuungsmikroskopie. Die Messung erfolgt auf chip-unabhängigen Objektträgern. Das System ist für eine akademische Multi-User-Kerninfrastruktur (Structural Biology Core Facility) mit offenem Zugang bestimmt und erfordert benutzerfreundliche Software zur Steuerung und Datenanalyse inkl. Dokumentation und Updates.
