This competition is for the procurement of an inverted microscope that can run routine analyses of cultivated cells. This particularly applies to automatic counting of cells, the proportion of dead cells and morphological changes of cells. An inverted microscope is therefore necessary. There will be many users of the instrument, with different uses and expertise. It is important that the user interface is educational and that the system has KI functions that facilitate the analyses. It is also important that larger objects such as fish larvae (up to 2.5 cm) can be analysed, as well as histological slides. Therefore, we need to have connectivity options to the extra colour camera. We plan to replace the current confocal scanner for use on this instrument at a later date.

9BME EEA 2026-06 Framework agreement for the operation and maintenance of Small pudding foot and cycle bridges.
Bergen kommune - Bergen VannBERGENThe contract is for the operation and maintenance of the foot and cycle bridge "Småpudden". Smallpudden bridge is a flap bridge over Damsgårdssundet in Bergen, which can be opened for boat traffic. This is an important route for foot and cycle and it is important that it works at all times. The interaction between the function such as the Foot and Cycle Path and opening for boat traffic must be taken care of.COSE1835.26 Supply, Delivery, Installation, and Maintenance of a wide-field microscope with a deconvolution system for University of Galway
University of Galway (ID 1400)GalwayDeadline: Jul 31It is intended that the framework will be used for all of University of Galway’s requirements for an integrated automated microscope imaging and analysis system. The contract will be to supply a wide-field microscope with deconvolution, along with a minimum of 5 years total warranty (1 year standard + 4 years extended). The scope of this tender includes a live cell imaging system and a minimum 5-year service contract. This will include all IT hardware and software necessary to run the system and provide tools for image analysis and deconvolution pipelines.Market consultation advanced maskless photopatterning system
Rijksuniversiteit GroningenGroningenDeadline: Jul 26Introduction Within the University of Groningen (UG), at the Groningen Research Institute of Pharmacy, the Pharmaceutical Analysis Group studies cell behaviour in physiologically relevant microenvironments, with a particular focus on microfluidic devices and hydrogel-based platforms. A central aspect of this research is the ability to engineer precisely defined biochemical and physical microenvironments at the sub-micron scale, in which cells can then be imaged and observed over time. To address the research questions arising in this context, an advanced maskless photopatterning system is required, capable of three functions within a single device: micropatterning of biomolecules for defining regions where cell can adhere, three-dimensional structuration of UV-sensitive hydrogels for structuring the mechanical environments of the cells, and microfabrication of microfluidic channels for enabling control of the biochemical environment of the cells. These three functions must be reconfigurable on demand and in real time, and the system must mount on an inverted fluorescence microscope, so that patterning can be performed at precisely imaged locations and in closed loop with observed cell behaviour. Together, these requirements place stringent demands on the patterning resolution, design flexibility, multi-function capability, and microscope integration of the instrument. See the market consultation document for futher information.Focused Ion Beam, Scanning Electron Microscope (FIB-SEM)
Lunds universitetLundDeadline: Aug 24Lund Nano Lab (LNL) at Lund University intends to purchase a Focused Ion Beam Scanning Electron Microscope, in this document referred to as the FIB-SEM, instrument or equipment. This document lists all the requirements the FIB-SEM must meet. The instrument is intended to be used for high-resolution imaging, materials analysis and preparing samples for TEM analysis as well as for experiments at the MAX IV synchrotron.High-speed High-resolution Spinning-disk Confocal Microscope for live cell and fixed samples
University of HelsinkiUniversity of HelsinkiDeadline: Aug 20We ask tenders for an advanced spinning-disk confocal microscopy system (High-speed High-resolution Spinning-disk Confocal Microscope for live cell and fixed samples). Instrumentation will be acquired to the Biomedicum Imaging Unit, imaging core facility within the University of Helsinki. Maximum price of system is 450 000 € (VAT 0 %), including shipping, installation, user training, and insurance until final acceptance of instrument. System must be delivered and installed within 14 weeks from purchase order date. In addition, we ask annual preventative maintenance contract for total 5 years after warranty period as an option. Price per year after warranty period shall be indicated and total price over five years given (for the evaluation). The buyer reserves the right to decide at the end of each yearly period whether to accept the option of continuing the service contract for another year (up to maximum five years) at tendered price.Scanning Electron Microscope
Danmarks Tekniske Universitet - DTUKgs. LyngbyDeadline: Aug 31This tender concerns the acquisition of a scanning electron microscope (SEM) for a university facility that provides access to an extensive suite of nanofabrication and characterisation tools as one of its core purposes. Due to a recently identified bottleneck in the suite of high-end characterisation in the cleanroom, DTU wishes to acquire a SEM. This problem has arisen as the result of multiple breakdowns among the aging and current instruments thus exposing an unexpected vulnerability in the overall process flow of several of our commercial users. The instrument is intended to meet the characterization requirements of DTU’s key commercial customers. Accordingly, only a high-end system equipped with a field emission source, capable of delivering high emission at low energy spread, will be considered acceptable. The system must provide state-of-the-art lateral image resolution of 0.8 nm or better at an accelerating voltage of 15 kV, and 0.9 nm or better at 1 kV, both achieved without beam deceleration or sample bias and using the in-column secondary electron detector. The SEM must be compatible with samples originating directly from customer production processes and must therefore be capable of handling wafers with diameters of up to 200 mm. Typical substrate materials include silicon, fused silica, and quartz. These materials cannot be coated to reduce charging effects during SEM analysis, and the instrument must therefore be capable of imaging such non-conductive samples without the application of conductive coatings.Equipment for weekend sequencing for the Department of Medical Genetics at UNN HF Tromsø.
SYKEHUSINNKJØP HFVADSØThe Medical Genetics Department at the University Hospital of North Norway (UNN) intends to procure 1 sequentialator from PacBio to read long fragments of long-read sequencing (DNA and RNA sequencing). The instruments shall be used for diagnostics and shall replace and supplement the current diagnostics based on short-read sequencing (SRS). This is because LRS detects some types of genetic variation better than SRS, e.g. major structural deviations and methylation status. Method transfer shall therefore be carried out from the current SRS to a new LRS for selected medical indications and it is therefore very important that these sequentators deliver a sequence of very high quality and reproducibility. There are several technical specifications that are decisive for achieving the quality we need for this purpose, for example: - The sequencing must be able to carry out sequencing with long read lengths of DNA and RNA for clinical samples. The read length of sequential fragments must at least be median 10-15 kb. At least 90% of the bases must have a quality of Q30 or higher in a typical 30X human genome. The instrument shall be particularly suitable for detecting major structural deviations and methylation status. - The data quality of SNP variants and short parts <50 bp must be at least as good as that achieved by Illumina SRS. This is important so that the analytical sensitivity of the analysis offer is not reduced for these types of variants and that the quality of the analysis offer is not, therefore, impaired for the patient analyses that shall only be carried out on a new long-read sequentator. - Sensitivity and precision must be documented in a reference dataset for the entire genome (i.e. not just the encoded areas in the genome) with the following parameters met: (i) F1 score > 99 % for SNS. (ii) F1 score > 95 % for INDEL's. (iii) F1 score >90 % for structural variants (SV's). (iv) Recall or F1-score for SNVs and INDEL are for technically challengiAnechoic Chamber
