The objective of this Qualification System is to qualify Applicants for the design, fabrication, welding, non destructive testing, pressure testing, assembly, inspection, painting, quality assurance, commissioning, delivery and provision of documentation for Pressure Reduction Systems (PRS) and line-pressure (LP) across the Gas Networks Ireland transmission network with operating pressures greater than 16 bar. The following is applicable to the scope of the QS: • GNI may procure all or any part of the PRS and LP installation. • For the purposes of compliance with Regulation 97(1)(a) (Modification of contracts during their term) of the Utilities Regulations 2016 GNI may require additional services, works, supplies under the scope, relevant to PRS and LP site e.g. the provision of equipment listed below and all ancillary equipment to facilitate the safe and efficient operation of the PRS assembly. The Contracting Entity reserves the right, at any time during this competition and/or the operation of the Qualification System, to conduct audits (including Supplier Quality Audits), which may include site visits and quality audits, for the purposes of verifying the accuracy and completeness of tender submissions and any supporting documentation provided. Such audits may include review of relevant facilities, processes, quality management arrangements, records and traceability information, and (where appropriate) the Applicant’s and/or its sub-suppliers’ premises. Applicants must acknowledge that, because materials, equipment and services within the scope of this Qualification System may be used directly on the gas network, participation in such audits may be a requirement of GNI and may be a minimum condition for progression, for any subsequent Call for Competitions. Any corrective actions identified during an audit must be satisfactorily addressed within the timeframe specified by the Contracting Entity. The Contracting Entity reserves the right to call off from the Qualification System in respect of any goods and services that may be required in Northern Ireland and/or Scotland

The framework agreement includes: • Sprinkler installations and the accompanying fire installations: Initial inspections, annual inspections and service of sprinkler installations (including water mist installations, inert/gas extinguishing installations and service of sprinkler valves) in accordance with the FG regulations. The agreement also includes inspections and maintenance of smoke ventilation and smoke hatches at the locations where such systems are installed. The inspections shall be carried out in accordance with the current rules, relevant standards and the manufacturer ́s instructions.• Option for manual extinguishing system: Annual inspection and service of hand extinguishers and annual inspection of fire hoses. The contracting authority is gradually planning to establish its own capacity to carry out all or parts of the service. The extent of the call-offs under the option can therefore be reduced during the agreement period. Aarhus UniversitetAarhus CAarhus University intends to award a contract without prior publication pursuant to section 80(3)(2) and section 80(4) of the Danish Public Procurement Act, cf. Article 32(2)(b)(ii) of Directive 2014/24/EU, on the basis that the required supplies and services can only be provided by one particular economic operator due to an absence of competition for technical reasons. Aarhus University has assessed that no reasonable alternative or substitute exists, and that the absence of competition is not the result of an artificial narrowing of the parameters of the procurement. The intended contract concerns the delivery of a complete turnkey Filtered Rayleigh Scattering (FRS) system for laser-based diagnostics in gaseous flows. The system is required for quantitative planar measurements of pressure, temperature and three-component velocity information in a measurement region of up to 100 mm × 100 mm. The required system must comprise, as one integrated measurement chain, a frequency-tunable narrow-linewidth laser source at approximately 532 nm, high-precision wavelength measurement and stabilisation, iodine-based molecular filtering, beam delivery and light-sheet optics, multi-perspective imaging from nine viewing directions, perspective calibration, control and data acquisition functionality, installation, commissioning, documentation, training and acceptance testing. The decisive requirement is not the supply of individual optical, laser, imaging or software components, but the delivery of a complete and operational FRS measurement system where one supplier assumes responsibility for the integration, calibration, commissioning and verified performance of the complete measurement chain. FRS measurements depend on the combined and synchronised performance of laser frequency control, molecular filter transmission, optical alignment, light-sheet formation, imaging geometry, calibration and data acquisition. These elements are technically interdependent and jointly determine whether the system can produce usable calibrated data for pressure, temperature and three-component velocity evaluation. In Aarhus University’s assessment, procuring individual components from several suppliers would not constitute a reasonable alternative or substitute, as it would not provide a supplier with overall responsibility for the integration, calibration, commissioning and verified performance of the required operational FRS functionality. Based on Aarhus University’s technical and market assessment, ILA R&D GmbH is the only economic operator identified as capable of delivering the required complete turnkey FRS system and assuming responsibility for its overall functionality. Other suppliers considered may be able to provide individual components or related optical flow-diagnostic systems, such as lasers, wavelength meters, cameras, optical components, PIV/PTV, LDV, LIF, BOS, Rayleigh/scalar imaging or software interfaces. However, Aarhus University has not identified a reasonable alternative or substitute capable of delivering the specific integrated FRS solution required, including iodine-filtered FRS, frequency-scanning and single-frequency operation, nine-perspective imaging, perspective calibration and acceptance testing of the complete system. Aarhus University therefore considers that the intended direct award is justified by the absence of competition for technical reasons. LNGS maintains 3 large halls (18 m x 18 m x 100 m) under the Gran Sasso mountain. Access is via the A24 highway tunnel connecting Termo to L'Aquila with an exit in the tunnel. The Max Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics (MPIK) is responsible for the cryostat. The cryostat has an outer diameter of 7 m and a height of 10 m. It is a pressure vessel that has to be constructed underground according to PED 2014/68/EU following the requirements of EN 13445. The entrance door to the halls (4 m wide and 4.5 m high) limits the size of the parts that can be shipped. MPIK is searching for a company with experience in the construction of pressure vessel of similar size and with experience of remote-site mounting and welding. UNDPJordanDeadline: Sep 10Background of Residual Plastic Recovery System (RPRS) UNDP is supporting sustainable solid waste management interventions in Cox’s Bazar, including efforts to improve resource recovery and reduce the volume of waste requiring final disposal at sanitary landfill sites. As part of this effort, UNDP plans to introduce Residual Plastic Recovery Systems (RPRS) at two locations: the Sanitary Landfill Site in Camp 20 Extension, Ukhiya, and the Teknaf Material Recovery Facility (MRF) Site near Boat Ghat Bazar, Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar. The RPRS is designed to support the recovery and processing of residual plastic and polythene waste generated from camp-based and municipal solid waste management systems. The system will help recover plastic-rich waste fractions that would otherwise be sent to landfill and process them through cleaning, crushing, washing, drying, extrusion and pelletizing. Through this process, loose residual plastic and polythene waste will be converted into a more concentrated and manageable form, such as processed plastic blocks or pellets. This will make the recovered plastic easier to store, transport and link with relevant recycling markets, where it can be used as raw material for further production. In this way, the RPRS will help improve the marketability of residual plastic waste and support circular economy opportunities. By reducing the volume of loose plastic waste entering the landfill, the RPRS is expected to help preserve remaining landfill capacity and improve landfill operations. It will reduce bulky, loose and difficult-to-compact plastic waste, thereby making compaction, covering and overall landfill management more stable and efficient. To ensure effective operation, the RPRS will require appropriate infrastructure, equipment, operational space, utility support, drainage, ventilation, occupational safety measures and environmental protection arrangements. The facilities will include provisions for receiving and temporarily storing raw plastic waste, feeding and processing materials, operating and maintaining machinery, moving workers and materials safely, and storing processed plastic materials and pellets. The proposed procurement packages under the RPRS will support the establishment of the required civil infrastructure, solar-based power system, and operational tools, machinery and equipment. Together, these packages will enable the installation and operation of the RPRS facilities and contribute to improved residual plastic recovery and more sustainable solid waste management in Cox’s Bazar.
