We point out that there is normally only one driver on buses, and with the use of an apprentice it is presumed that the tenderer has an additional driver to follow up the apprentice. * The work assignments are not considered suitable for apprentices due to the nature of the work and requirements for health, safety and the environment. We point out that passenger transport will mainly be carried out by children, which requires extra focus on safeguarding passenger safety.
