The Hub aims to foster innovation, research, and technology-driven solutions in the health sector by providing innovators, researchers, startups, and technology developers with access to advanced laboratory and prototyping equipment. As part of this initiative, the Hub has acquired specialized laboratory equipment, including an Opentrons Flex Liquid Handling Robot, a Formlabs Form 3 SLA 3D Printer, an Ultimaker S5 FDM 3D Printer, and associated accessories and software. To ensure the equipment is installed, commissioned, and operated in accordance with manufacturers requirements and industry standards, UNDP Rwanda invites qualified firms to submit quotations for the provision of installation, calibration, testing, user training, and post-installation maintenance support services. The selected contractor will be expected to provide a comprehensive solution covering site assessment, equipment installation and commissioning, software configuration, hands-on training for designated users, and technical support services to ensure the equipment is fully operational and the Hub staff are equipped with the necessary skills to operate and maintain the systems effectively. The stated consumption/extent is an estimate for information to the tenderer and is not binding for the future contract volume. The pipetting robot shall be used to pipet patient samples and reagents for preparing NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) library for small and medium scale analyses/research project.
