Die VBS Verkehrsbetriebe Schussental GmbH & Co. KG plant die Erweiterung der Ladeinfrastruktur durch den Neubau eines Ladeparks auf dem Busbetriebshof in Ravensburg als Erweiterung des bestehenden Betriebs. Ziel ist der Aufbau eines zentralen, elektrifizierten Busbetriebs mit zuverlässiger Versorgung einer wachsenden Anzahl an Elektrobussen, einschließlich Ladeinfrastruktur, energetischem Kreislauf, Speicher, Photovoltaikanlage und Betriebstechnik. Perspektivisch soll die Anlage auch Elektrobusse anderer Verkehrsunternehmen mitversorgen. Für die Erweiterung wird das benachbarte Grundstück angepachtet, um zusätzliche Ladepunkte, Abstellflächen und betriebsnotwendige Einrichtungen zu integrieren. Die Anforderungen der EU-weiten Clean Vehicle Directive sind zu berücksichtigen.
