Die Konstruktion der Hallenerweiterung ist als technisches Gebäude überwiegend in Stahlbauweise mit Satteldachkonstruktion und einem rechteckigen Grundriss geplant. Die Konstruktion des neuen Absetzbeckens ist überwiegend in Stahlbetonmassivbauweise geplant. Die Trockenbeete und das Fahrsilo werden in einschaliger offener Wannenbauweise in Stahlbetonbauweise errichtet.
