Mit der Zentralklinik entsteht ein modernes und zentral zwischen den Städten Aurich, Emden und Norden gelegenes 814-Betten-Haus auf einem 36 Hektar großen Areal in Uthwerdum. Das Baugrundstück befindet sich bei Uthwerdum ein Ortsteil der Gemeinde Südbrookmerland im Landkreis Aurich in Ostfriesland. Die Erschließung des Geländes erfolgt über die südlich angrenzenden Bundesstraßen B72 und B21.
