Neben der Ertüchtigung des Überholgleises 104 für die erforderliche Gleisnutzlänge von 740m erfolgen u.a. der Einbau einer neuen Weichenverbindung im Ostkopf sowie die Verschiebung bestehender Weichenverbindungen im Westkopf. Zusätzlich sind Zusammenhangsmaßnahmen in den Gewerken VA (Kabeltiefbau, Entwässerung), OLA (Rück- und Neubau), 50Hz (EWHA), LST (Kabelzug, La-Stellen, Baugleissperren) und KIB (Anpassung Randkappe EÜ Rothbachbrücke) notwendig.
